1. Call me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen.
So I know the parodies are getting a little crazy but I still love some of them. Here are my top 3.
- US Olympic Swim Team (seeing as I love those Olympic swimmers)
- Highlight: Brendan Hansen doing the robot underwater. Gets me every time! And Nathan Adrian's written on hands because it's slightly off beat, awkward, and fantastic.
- Harvard Baseball team
- I mean come on. This is classic. I just want to know how it was decided to do this. Even better because I saw some children doing this dance in the car behind me last night. We were listening to the same radio station, I would have done the same thing if I hadn't been driving.
- The BYU International Folk Dancers! Obvs.
- Including yours truly and my 40 something best friends.
- Highlights: dancing from the worst music video ever and pillowpet flirting
2. What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction
Really. That's me every time. I can't get enough of this song. I don't care that the boys in One Direction look 12 years old. Don't care. It also brings great memories of some of my best friends, so that helps.
3. Somebody that I Used to Know - Goyte (feat Kimbra)
I do not, however, like the amped up beat-ified version they have been playing on the radio so much. The original just makes me want to dance. Like this.
4. Starships - Nikki Minaj
So one time, I knew a dear girl who is a native Spanish speaker who sang this song at the top of her lungs to her roommate's concern. Because beach in a Spanish accent...yeah it doesn't sound like beach.
Even though I love the original, to be honest, I like this Pentatonix cover better. I'm so glad this song is on their EP.
5. Brokenhearted - Karmin
It's the beat that gets me in this one. Doesn't it just make you want to have an ugly dance party? Or maybe that's just me. I love ugly dance parties.

Can I just say that I agree with you 100%? Well almost 100%. Actually 80%. Somebody That I Used to Know is getting to me... in a not so good way. But i love this post, that's for sure.
